Christmas 2015

December 2015
Merry Christmas!

As this year comes to an end, we are reminded of the many blessings God has given.

Todd is still working at Skyline Aircraft Maintenance as a mechanic. He enjoys the variety of airplanes in general aviation. He is always fixing things or doing home improvement projects in his spare time. We just love having his parents, brother/family, cousin and now his aunt and uncle in town!
I enjoy substitute teaching during the school year. It offers flexibility and variety, but it also gives me something to do while Todd and the kids are gone to school/work. In July, the kids and I were able to travel out to TN to visit family/friends for a couple weeks. This year, I made some strawberry & raspberry jam from berries we picked; we grew tomatoes, peppers and a few raspberries; and we went to the orchards for fruits like peaches, apples and pears.

Megan (13) is a fantastic sweetheart. She is now in seventh grade, the middle of her middle school years. ;) She still is crafty and loves reading. This year her homework has become more challenging, and she is involved in more school and church activities. Megan especially enjoys her yearbook and math classes. She plays forward on her school’s basketball team, and plans to do track in the spring. She and Kyle are on the puppet team at church and have the same leaders that Todd had when he was a teen!

Kyle (14) is still a great kid. He has had a great start to his high school career this year. He played soccer earlier in the fall, and is now old enough to start thinking about driving. Yikes! He and Megan are both on the honor roll. Kyle’s favorite classes are theater and science.

Slush is a new member of our family. She is a mostly loving, sometimes attacking, little kitten. ;) She is technically Megan’s cat, and Megan has done a great job of taking care of her most of the time. But all of us love her and claim her.

We know that life gets busy, but we just want you to know how much we love hearing from you!! May God bless you as we look forward to a new year and thank Him for the gift of life…..and especially for the full, rich life He gives.

Love,
The Edgertons
